About this one
Picked in the Guji zone, dried whole on raised beds for around eighteen days, and roasted for filter on the Tuesday before it ships. The cup is apricot and jasmine with a long, clean finish, and it holds that shape from the first day to about week five in the bag.
The roast date is printed on the bag, not a best before eighteen months out. Rest it three days after roasting, then drink it inside six weeks: this is a natural coffee, and the fruit is the first thing to go.
It is not an espresso roast. Pulled as a shot it runs sharp and thin, and the filter grind we sell is ground for a cone, not for a basket.
