About this one
Unbleached paper, oxygen washed, folded for a one cup cone. One hundred to a box, which is between five and eight weeks for one person brewing daily.
Oxygen washing is what removes the papery taste, so a rinse is about warming the cone rather than about scrubbing the filter. We still rinse, because the warm cone is worth it.
They are not compostable in a municipal bin everywhere: the paper is, the used grounds are, and your local scheme decides whether the two together are collected.
