About this one
Conical steel burrs in an aluminium body, forty clicks between espresso and French press, and a shaft held at both ends so the burrs stay parallel under load. A filter dose of eighteen grams takes about thirty seconds.
Steel burrs cut where ceramic ones crush, and they hold their edge for years rather than months. Every part above the burr set unscrews for cleaning, and the burrs themselves are sold separately when they finally dull.
It is not an espresso grinder for a daily double. It reaches the fineness, but the effort at that setting is real, and after two weeks most people put it on the filter side and leave it there.
