About this one
Nine hundred millilitres, a narrow gooseneck spout and a counterweighted handle, so the pour starts slowly and stops where you stop it. It sits on gas, induction and electric plates alike.
There is no thermometer and no temperature dial, on purpose: it is the part that breaks first, and water off the boil for forty seconds is close enough to 93 degrees for any cone on this shelf.
It is not a fast kettle. The narrow spout that makes the pour controllable also makes it slow to fill and slow to empty, and it holds about three filter brews, not a table's worth.
